Shutt Velo Rapide launch their 2012 Autumn/Winter kit

Activejacket1w
British cycling clothing company Shutt Velo Rapide have  released the first of their products for the coming Autumn and Winter. The new products include a smart and affordably priced soft-shell jacket, that’s also designed to look good off the bike http://www.shuttvr.com/shop/productdetail/Active-Softshell-Jacket/ It’s even better value with a £20 discount off retail at launch. It features a water repellent and wind proof fabric and subtle reflective detailing – could be a good commuter/casual riding option. Shutt also have a performance jacket coming soon for those of us who are more focussed on road riding and want a higher end product.  I’ll watch the launch of that one with interest. As my riding friends know – my view is you can never have too many soft shells!
Bibtights1w
Also new for the winter is the new Roubaix bib-tights with a water repellent finish, which I’m a big fan of on bib-tights. I’m also a fan of loops for your feet and non-pad designs – so this looks like the sort of bib-tights I’d have asked for if they’d asked me (they didn’t but who knows, maybe next year ;-)) You can see more info on the bib-tights here: http://www.shuttvr.com/shop/productdetail/Shutt-Roubaix-Bib-Tights/

I’ve been a fan of Shutt from their beginning – their Pro Bib Shorts have been my first choice for the last few years (I have several pairs) and have reviewed some here: http://girodilento.com/shuttvr-pro-bib-coolmax-shorts-comparative-re
The performance jersey is my new favourite as seen here: http://girodilento.com/first-look-shutt-velo-rapide-performance-jers and it matches my new Stoemper beautifully as you may have seen in the first ride post and my autumnal clothing post:  http://girodilento.com/the-challenge-of-autumnal-clothing-selection

In my experience you can choose any Shutt product with confidence – I’ll certainly be adding to my own collection before long.
