Deep down you know you don’t want to ride with the pros

I've been offline for much of the last week as I've moved house and have only just been reconnected to the net today. In that time Danny Macaskill has had another video and I'm trying to resist the temptation to post the link as you've probably watched it several times already. However in my Twitter catchup I found this gem of what happened when an amateur rider (Ryan Kelly) joined two pro cyclists (Ted King and Tim Johnson) on a 200 mile ride. It looks to me like Ryan put in a great performance but it's funny watching how he starts un-ravelling towards the end. We've all been there, which is what makes it a great watch. To be clear this is not an ambition of mine – to go on a training ride with the pros as the same thing would happen to me but much faster – but congratulations to Ryan for surviving (in a manner of speaking) and well done to the guys who put the video together. Consider it a cautionary tale…

It's a fun video – and I hope you enjoy it.

… and of course – there's always the Danny Macaskill video to watch if you haven't seen it … sorry I can't help posting it.
