It’s Christmas Eve as I write this and I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy, fun, festive and safe Christmas.
For me the snow is starting to finally clear away but I’m looking forward to the next few days off and most of all to spending some quality time with my wife and kids (who are very excited indeed about Christmas).
If you are out there riding – check out the Rapha Festive 500 (http://www.rapha.cc/the-rapha-festive-500) which is a great achievement in much of the snow covered Northern Hemisphere – but probably a bit of a doddle for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere summer.
If the Festive 500 is a bit too big a commitment – you might want to consider Bike Chimp’s amusing but probably more realistic alternative: http://bikechimp.wordpress.com/2010/12/23/the-fatter-festive-100/
I’ve put a couple of christmas videos on this post for your entertainment and enjoyment. My first video above is a wonderful Australian Christmas song that is one of my all time favourites. Paul Kelly is a fantastic singer songwriter but hardly known in Europe and it’s Europe’s loss. If you like it – you can find out more or buy it from Paul’s own website here: http://www.paulkellystore.com.au/store/catalog/product/view/id/1377251/s/paul-kelly-songs-from-the-south-volume-1-2-music-ablum-cd-group/
Thanks so much for visiting and reading this and wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
