I’ve just watched Robert Penn’s quest to build his perfect bike on BBC 4 from Tuesday evening and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s not the bike I would have personally built – but it’s all about his travels around the world to buy the components to buy his dream road bike. Robert’s enthusiasm for his quest is contagious and it has some really interesting snippets about the evolution of the bicycle industry as well as some lovely quotes about cycling.
If you can access the BBC iPlayer (UK only I think) it’s well worth watching if you haven’t seen it already.
