The Taipei Cycle Show always sees manufacturers releasing new models. NeilPryde have used the show to launch their third model in their road bike range, the Bura SL. This new bike is a super light high performance road bike that according to NeilPryde is climbers bike. With a large size (56cm) reported to be around 740 gms, it’s over 200 gms lighter than the companies Diablo and around 300gms lighter than the Alize, which was already one of the lighter aero frames around (at 1040gms for a 56cm).The bike on display at Taipei Cycle is a prototype so it may change a little before final production and release for the 2013 model year.
NeilPryde say that the bike has been benchmarked against other leading super light frames and tested by the UHC Pro Cycling team as part of it’s design evolution.
Here are a series of photos followed by the companies press release.
