My good friend Mark at Vélo Morphē has put together a challenging Ultra Cross ride between Christmas and New Year.
It’s going to be 75km running from and to Eastbourne. It’s going to be a fairly up and down affair from the maps but it’s in an interesting part of the UK and it’s a good time to get out and ride. It may even help excuse you from family obligations if you play your cards right.
You’re going to need a cross or a mountain bike though. I don’t have either, so I’m going to be on the lookout to find one of the other to borrow. Mark puts together good rides in good scenery as I know from personal experience.
After the ride it’ll be down to the Belgian Cafe on the waterfront for what will be well deserved frites and beer.
