At Madison’s IceBike event this week, Connor Swift’s stunning new custom painted 2019 Genesis Zero Disc SL team bike was on display on the Shimano stand.
It’s a stunning paint job I think you’ll agree and a terrific reminder of how much a paint can make a bike really stand out.
This one-off bike for 2019 is to highlight Connor’s National Champion status and the paint for this bike was done by ColourBurn.
I like the use of paint speckles/drops in addition to the clever use of red, white and blue on the forks and stays
As you’d expect, the team bike spec includes a full Shimano Dura Ace Di2 Disc brake set up, with matching Dura Ace Tubular wheels
The paint job also features a number of details personalising it to Ben…
It’s a terrific bit of PR for Genesis, Madison and the team too. The Zero Disc has had an update for 2019 with a new carbon lay up, which should see the bike ride a touch differently than before. I’ve reviewed the original version before and enjoyed it
