Yesterday David from http://stoemper.com/ dropped by for a chat and a ride over some of my local hills.
I thought you might find what he brought to ride interesting and snapped a few quick pictures after the rain stopped and just as we were about to roll out.
It’s a standard geometry Ronny (http://stoemper.com/the-bikes/ronny/) size 55cm as apparently you should always drop down a size or two for ‘cross (so I’m told).
It does however have an ISP, a PF30 bottom bracket, an ENVE disc fork. The cranks are SRAM Force and David’s running 42×18 gearing right now. According to David the rims are no name generic carbon rims but he imagines they’re Zipp 303s 🙂
Being a single speed – it looks incredibly clean but hard work to ride over my local hills. David says it’ll do me wonders – I think it might kill me.
The bike looked great out riding – but then I’m a bit biased.
If you have any questions about the build – do leave me a comment and if I don’t know the answer I’ll find out.
Thanks for reading….
